Quick Adjust Lid Prop Do you often encounter pianos that are too close to the wall to allow the lid to lean back against it safely? Of course you can pull the piano out from the wall to tune it, but did you know that the tuning can significantly change when the piano is later pushed back to its original position? This lid prop allows you to hold most lids out of the way while tuning, eliminating the need to reposition the piano when tuning. It adjusts in seconds to hold the piano lid at any angle from about 45º  to beyond vertical. To adjust the prop to stand the lid up higher, simply pull the loose end of the cord upward in an arc, then downward. The adjustment is instant and secure — it will not slip.
